Oh I do miss those wonderful Salmonberries – used to go up Bunker Hill and always found the best ones in the worst/hardest places to get to. Are you going to have a good blueberry crop this year?? I heard friends from our church in Rye, Roy & Shannon Christenson, might be in Dutch Harbor now visiting a young man they raised. I can’t remember his name but will let you know when I found out. At one time I believe he lived in Dillingham. Keep the posts coming – sure enjoy them!!!
Oh yes, the combat berry picking on Bunker Hill. I have just about killed myself there! Let me know about the visitors and I’ll keep my eye out for them. Miss you.
Glad that somebody likes them! I never did, but then I don’t like raspberries or blackbarries. Did you pick gallons and gallons?
I have definitely not picked gallons. Not enough ripe ones.
