Great Aunt Diane Arrives on a Beautiful Swimming Day!

My sister, Diane, four years younger than me, arrived today for a summer visit.  Scotty was happy to see her.

SP carries on the family tradition of swimming on the front beach.  Not that there was too much swimming going on today!

Snow on the Mountains!

Yes…I saw it for myself…fresh snow on the mountains! I had heard a rumor going around that it was happening, but until you see it yourself, you question people’s eyesight. By the time I got over the shock and thought to take a picture, the fog had come rolling down. You’ll have to take my word for it.

On second thought, the fog has moved up again.  Let’s see if we can see the snow…

Fisheries Exhibit Opening at Museum

Don’t forget to attend the opening of a brand new exhibit about the fisheries in the Aleutians. The doors open at the Museum of the Aleutians, Friday evening, June 19, 2009, at 7 PM. Hope to see you there!
